One cent and Two cent matching upper left plate proof blocks of six on wove paper, printed in black from the defaced “Montreal” plate with vertical defacement lines and an overall “blanket” of small dashes, respectively. Both with full counter imprint, the Two cent block with additional Plate “A” marking at top left, thins in left sheet margin and faint horizontal crease at bottom edge, a very rare and Very Fine duo (Unitrade 35 & 36 proofs; catalogue value $7,200+)
