1857 Six pence violet grey on thick hard wove paper, imperforate, a beautiful used example of this distinctive late printing with large margins, fabulous colour on pristine paper and showing quite clearly the vertical mesh associated with later Pence issues on hard wove papers, nicely struck and unusually clear four-ring '19' (London, U.C.) cancel.
