A remarkable in-depth, specialized collection displayed on 18 album pages with write-up, comprising:
- Engraved die essay of the vignette only
- Three different large Die Essays in black and five stamp size die essays in three different colours, all with six pence denomination
- Five die proofs on card and / or india paper in three different colours
- Plate proofs in black and in brown
- Wide Gutter margin block of 54 with full imprint at foot, plus other plate imprint multiples
- Positional gutter margin blocks, mint and used singles including a genuine used pair on cover fragment
- An impressive showing of five covers – each a rarity in their own rights. Includes 4½p pair and two singles, plus 1p orange registered to Ireland; single 4½p on only known inter-provincial usage to New Brunswick; three covers bearing a single to England, one mailed during the second month of issue. Very few covers are known bearing the four and one-half pence.
