Canada 120ii

1923 Fifty cent brownish black, wet printing, a phenomenal mint block of four, unusually well centered with remarkable and well above average strength (about 40%) Type D lathework; one of the very finest known. Natural gum skips on left pair, lower right stamp NEVER HINGED. A superb lathework multiple ideal for a serious collection, Very Fine (Unitrade 120ii; catalogue value $15,000+)

Catalogue value reflects a block of four with lesser strength (20%) lathework. A stronger impression should command a substantial premium. This example is easily superior to almost all the very few blocks known.
