1851 Twelve penny black on handmade laid paper, an impressive used example of Canada's most iconic stamp in absolutely flawless quality, surrounded by four seldom encountered large margins and possessing true, deep colour on pristine paper displaying prominent, easily visible laid lines, cancelled by two sharp, well-defined concentric rings cancellations in black. The stellar condition of this stamp is superior to nearly all existing used singles, most used twelve pennies have imperfections or small margins.
