1898 Ten cent brown violet, an impressive mint Plate 1 block of six showing the complete plate inscription, quite nicely centered, slight trace of printing ink offset on gum side on three stamps. A very rare plate block of this key stamp, only a handful exist in such a remarkable state of preservation, Very Fine, Never Hinged (Unitrade 83; catalogue value $13,500 for stamps alone)
